Once in a while, I have to logon to an OSX machine to check if our simulator compiles fine there. Especially after Travis failure. Last time, I tried debugging a test failure on OSX, I got the following:

I wasted an hour looking around. The most promising one was here https://gist.github.com/hlissner/898b7dfc0a3b63824a70e15cd0180154 . Couldn’t use it since it requires GUI login.

Fuck it! I ran gdb using sudo.

And the nightmare was over!

Next day, I had to use a graphical login to fix it permanently. I don’t think there is any remote-login only solution to this problem.
